This new house is built on a difficult back-land site in the village Conservation Area.  

Planning permission had been refused previously for a much larger-scale house, by others.  We were able to demonstrate that a 4 bedroom house could be accommodated within a much smaller and more sensitive built form, positioned to avoid visual impact on views into and out of the Conservation Area and planning permission was granted.
