Michelmersh & Timsbury Shop & Cafe

We have been working with the village Community Benefit Society, in discussion with the Parish Council, to prepare designs for a new community shop & cafe.

This unique house was designed and built to achieve very high environmental performance, with the use a of a super-insulated and air-tight timber frame, PV solar generation, battery storage, air-source heat pump and underfloor heating.

The house has achieved an A-rated EPC and has a carbon dioxide emission rate of just 1.89 kgCO2/m².
