This proposed scheme for two houses in the large garden of an existing house received planning approval in May 2010.
An innovative solution has been employed to overcome the steeply sloping site, arranging the new houses along a contour almost a full two storeys below the existing house, but relating in level to adjacent housing. This means the new houses are dug into the bank and do not obstruct views from the existing White Lodge over their green roofs.
Habitable rooms are aligned on the southern side with large glazed elevations to living spaces on the upper floor.
